Adfly Links Failing Like Mad Hen Viewing Via Web Proxy!

Postby TheEnquisitor » Mon Jan 23, 2017 1:38 pm

Hi,

If you want to view a website through a web proxy to hide your ip then you can do it via anonymouse.org as all you have to do is add the following url before your destination url:

http://anonymouse.org/cgi-bin/anon-www.cgi/

So, if my destination url is ebay.com then I can view ebay.com anonymously like so:

http://anonymouse.org/cgi-bin/anon-www. ... //ebay.com

So far, so good.
Now, if I want to convert the destination url to an adfly link (FULL PAGE SCRIPT format) then I'd do it like these:

http://adf.ly/YOUR ADFLY ID GOES HERE/ebay.com
http://adf.ly/YOUR ADFLY ID GOES HERE/http://ebay.com
http://adf.ly/YOUR ADFLY ID GOES HERE/www.ebay.com
http://adf.ly/YOUR ADFLY ID GOES HERE/http://www.ebay.com

Again, so far, so good.

Finally, if I want my blog visitors to view ebay.com from my website anonymously and via adfly link then these followings should work but they don't!!! :?

http://anonymouse.org/cgi-bin/anon-www. ... df.ly/YOUR ADFLY ID GOES HERE/ebay.com

http://anonymouse.org/cgi-bin/anon-www. ... df.ly/YOUR ADFLY ID GOES HERE/http://ebay.com

http://anonymouse.org/cgi-bin/anon-www. ... df.ly/YOUR ADFLY ID GOES HERE/www.ebay.com

http://anonymouse.org/cgi-bin/anon-www. ... df.ly/YOUR ADFLY ID GOES HERE/http://www.ebay.com

Now, what is wrong with adfly here ?

You can view websites anonymously by typing your chosen url on this page's box:

http://anonymouse.org/anonwww.html

However, navigating to that page everytime might be a bother and so I was building my own web browser where you on't have to visit that page everytime as the browser would use the above mentioned url technique to get you to browse websites anonymously via adfly-ing but the adfly fails to redirect the user to the destination.

Admin note that, from the above links, I have removed my adfly id with YOUR ADFLY ID GOES HERE and so add your own adfly id and check for yourself admin.

If anonymity is what you want, I suggest that you use the Tor browser (See https://torproject.org/)

But if you really want to become anonymous, use Tor over a VPN connection - a double whammy. If you are not using VPN yet, you might find one to your liking here

https://www.google.com/search?q=free+VPN

If the need arises, I use the free VPN service of TunnelBear. You can switch locations in a click of the mouse. Several locations to choose from - US, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Hongkong, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, etc. Free monthly 500 MB bandwidth and an additional 1 GB on request. Other free VPNs might offer a better service and terms.

I used VPN to go around the blocking of La Liga videos on YouTube for visitors coming from outside of Spain before.

You have no control over what the people who click on your adfly links use.

As far as a member's use of VPN and/or Tor to hide the fact that he himself is viewing his own adfly links to generate ad views, then that is an act in bad faith and a violation of TOS. That is true whether you hide your location or not. It is clicking on your own link that can get you banned. I am not sure if VPN and Tor are specifically mentioned in the TOS but I really doubt that but I still need another look at the TOS to be sure.

There is nothing wrong in using VPN and/or Tor to view other people's adfly links. The most that will happen is that the owner of the adfly link will be paid the lowest possible rate for that particular ad view or views.

Only click on your own link when you test a newly created link or when someone complains that there is something wrong with a link. Other than that, stay away from your own links and work on getting other people to click on your links

We have limits on how much an ip address gets paid daily and we also pay out to proxy/vpn users but only by a small amount. In other words, you cant get banned for viewing adfly links but like the TheEnquisitor said, its against the TOS to click your own links with several different proxys

Using proxies (Glype for example) is a well known method used by newbies to try to make money.
(It doesn't work)
